App: GBA Emulator: Pocket Gameboy (Android package com.bitgrowth.gba)
Publisher: BitGrowth ยท Last updated: 20 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the GBA Emulator: Pocket Gameboy app (the “App”) collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.
The App is published by BitGrowth (“we”, “us”). It is a Game Boy Advance / Game Boy emulator that runs game files you already own, locally on your device. For any privacy question, contact us at kien@bitgrowths.com.
The App itself does not run our own servers. Data collection happens through the third-party services below, each governed by its own privacy policy. Where required, analytics and advertising are gated behind the in-app consent screen and Google’s consent form.
| Service (provider) | Data | Purpose | Consent-gated |
|---|---|---|---|
| Firebase Analytics (Google) | App usage and screen-view events, coarse device/OS info, a pseudonymous app-instance ID | Understand feature usage and improve the App | Yes |
| Firebase Crashlytics (Google) | Crash stack traces, device state and OS version at time of crash | Diagnose and fix crashes (disabled in debug builds) | Yes |
| Google AdMob (Google) | Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, ad interactions | Show banner, interstitial and app-open ads | Yes (Google UMP in EEA/UK) |
| Meta / Facebook App Events (Meta) | App events (e.g. registration, subscription), device identifiers | Measure conversions and app performance | Yes |
| RevenueCat | A pseudonymous app-user ID and your subscription / entitlement status | Manage premium subscriptions and restore purchases | n/a (only on purchase) |
Payments are processed by Google Play; neither we nor RevenueCat receive your payment-card details.
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on your consent for analytics and personalised advertising (collected via the App’s consent screen and Google’s UMP form), and on our legitimate interest for crash diagnostics and basic app functionality. You can decline or withdraw consent (see Section 7).
Ads are served by Google AdMob and may use your device’s advertising ID. You can reset or delete this ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. In the EEA/UK, ad consent is requested through Google’s consent form on first launch.
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers listed in Section 3, who process it under their own policies. Each provider retains data per its own retention schedule; on-device data remains until you clear app data or uninstall the App.
Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, port, or delete your data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To request deletion of data associated with the App, follow the instructions on our Data Deletion page, or email kien@bitgrowths.com.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
